What is considered bad weather?
Bad weather for kayaking in Lofoten is windy conditions. We kayak in sun, clouds and rain.
If it is raining a lot we have water proof kayak jackets to keep you dry.
What happens in case of bad weather?
If the conditions are to windy for a safe kayak tour, the guide will reach out to you and reschedule. If you do not have possibility to reschedule, your booking will be cancelled and you will receive a refund.
Can I cancel or reschedule by myself?
You can rebook or cancel your booking up to 48 hours prior your activity.
After that the booking can only be changed due to weather.
What is the difference between a 2 and a 3 hour tour??
We have no standard route, all tours are tailored to the current weather conditions.
The simple answer is that you get to see more during a 3 hour tour. But also in a 2 hour tour you will have plenty of time to experience the area.
Do you have parking?
Yes, we have parking by the activity center.
We share parking with Sakrisoy Rorbuer. Drive up on the hill behind the activity center and park by the orange cabbins.
Can children join?
We offer family tours, that is a private event for your family.
We have the age limit on 14 y/o in the "ordinary" kayak tours. When the tour includes younger children we need to take extra care to safety. The weather/wave conditions can change very dramatically here and we need to prepare for all situations. For this reason we want to dedicate 1 guide to the whole family. This means you will get a private tour at a discounted price.
What should I bring?
Do you rent kayaks?
No, we do not rent kayaks due to safety and insurance reasons.

Unofficial office hours are 10:00 to 16:00. If the office is closed, call us, we are probably nearby
